I’m a Big Island activist working to protect historic Keauhou Bay.

I am taking the largest private charitable trust in Hawaiʻi to court because my First Amended Petition alleges that their Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for their proposed bungalow resort development at Keauhou Bay violates Hawaiʻi’s environmental laws. I am also taking Hawaiʻi County to court for accepting the FEIS, despite the violations I allege in my petition.

I believe an FEIS for a development that could forever change this historic and culturally significant bay should fully comply with Hawaiʻi’s environmental laws and properly address its environmental and cultural impacts.
